Logistics and Administration Manager
Introduction
The Alindao health programme currently consists of supporting one district hospital and clinics. Cordaid also run mobile clinics.
Position and responsibility
The Logistics and Administration Manager reports to the field Coordinator Alindao.
General objective of the posting
To establish and ensure follow-up of the base’s logistics and administration and manage the security of the base.
Specific objectives
Human resources and finance:
Responsible of the field office staff for administrative issues with the support of the country administrator like contracts follow up, leave planning, disciplinary measures.
Responsible for payments and their compliance.
Rehabilitation and Wash:
Supervises and supports all rehabilitation work for hospital, clinics, and Cordaid compounds and supervises wash programme activities.
Procurement and supply chain:
In charge of procurement process and all Cordaid storage facilities (including the pharmacies) for positioning, inventory reports, stock level, stocks
Fixed Assets and fleet management:
Responsible for the overall management of assets: utilisation, documentation, inventories, vehicles and generators maintenance, monthly reports (vehicle conditions, fuel consumption, servicing, etc.)
Team management:
Line managing support staff in accordance with HR policies and procedures, including recruitment and performance management, capacity building
Security / Safety:
Provide support and advice to the Field Coordinator for improving security management, monitoring security context, ensure the safety for the offices, accommodations, warehouses, vehicles.
Qualifications
Experience should be supported by academic study in logistics, engineering, of management;
Experience in managing logistical aspects of technical humanitarian programs (WASH, FSL & Shelter);
Knowledge of security principles and standard operating procedures in a humanitarian context
Logistics and administration experience in project implementation and management;
Experience in training, coaching and dealing with national staff;
French is compulsory, spoken English is an asset;
Good skills in MS Office tools (word and excel);
Valid driving license;
Ability to meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure and with limited supervision;
Ability to work in participatory manner with staff to assess needs, implement and monitor activities Strong negotiation, interpersonal and organization skills.
Specifics of station
The desired candidate will be based at the field office in Alindao, Basse Kotto.

Contract information
The contract period is for 4 months starting as soon as possible, with the intention to extend for a longer period. We offer a Cordaid contract with a competitive salary and a benefit package which includes R&R, a comprehensive insurance cover, social security and pension contribution, a holiday allowance, 13th month, hardship allowance and cost of living allowance (if applicable).
